Dr. Tsaparas is originally from Burnaby, British Columbia.  He completed his undergraduate training in Microbiology at the University of British Columbia.  He completed his M.D. degree from the University of Calgary in 2000 and went on to complete his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of British Columbia in 2005.

He is presently a Clinical Instructor with the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine and an active member of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology.   Dr. Tsaparas has authored multiple peer reviewed publications and has presented in his field at both national and international Otolaryngology conferences.

He sees both adult and pediatric patients for general Otolaryngology issues and has over 10 years’ experience performing complex nasal reconstructive surgery, primary and revision computer assisted sinus surgery, myringotomy tubes, tympanoplasty and ossicular chain reconstruction, adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy and removal of benign and malignant head and neck tumors, and primary snoring and obstructive sleep apnea surgery.

His office is located in South Burnaby and he is on staff at Burnaby, Royal Columbian, Eagleridge and Surrey Memorial Hospitals.

Outside of work Dr. Tsaparas enjoys playing soccer, fishing and spending time with friends and family.
